DEPOSIT for Custom T-Shirt/Memory Quilt - Made from your Shirts

This listing is for a non-refundable deposit toward your custom T-shirt quilt, thoughtfully designed around your unique collection of shirts. Your deposit will be applied to your final invoice. The remaining balance is due once your quilt is finished and ready to ship.

Current turnaround time: 45–60 business days
(Starts when your shirts arrive, not when the deposit is paid.)

🧵 How It Works

Each quilt is fully custom — no two are the same! I design your layout based on the number of usable designs (not just the number of shirts), using varied block sizes to create a beautiful, balanced look. I include every item you send, using both front and back graphics whenever possible.

👕 What Can Be Included?

I accept a wide variety of garments — not just T-shirts!
Accepted:
• T-shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys, dri-fit, polos, uniforms
• Dress shirts (no silk), pajamas, lightweight pants/shorts
• Some types of hats

Avoid sending:
• Heavy denim, leather, mesh, sheer fabrics
• Puffy coats or items with rhinestones/beading

If you have fewer than 12 shirts, I can add coordinating fabric (free of charge!) to help complete your quilt.

🧶 Materials & Construction

• Professionally quilted using a longarm machine (meander stitch)
• 100% cotton backing (standard)
• 80/20 cotton/poly batting
• Double-fold binding for strength and durability
• Stabilizer only used when needed (e.g., jerseys or dri-fit)

Upgrade Option:
• Minky/cuddle backing: +$50 for extra softness and warmth

🏷️ Optional Add-Ons

• Embroidered Label (names, dates, dedications): +$25
• Heat-Pressed Label: +$15

📦 Sending Your Shirts

After checkout, you’ll receive detailed instructions on how and where to ship your items.
Please don’t cut your shirts — if already cut, contact me (additional charges may apply).
Once I receive them, I’ll confirm with you, start your layout, and send photos of your completed quilt along with your final invoice.

Quilts unpaid after 90 days may be donated.

🚚 Shipping

• You are responsible for shipping your shirts (with tracking)
• Return shipping of your finished quilt is included in the final price
• Quilts are shipped with tracking and insurance

🧼 Care Instructions

• Machine wash cold, gentle cycle
• Tumble dry low or air dry
• Use a color catcher on first wash
• Trim any loose threads (don’t pull!)

🔔 Notes & Disclaimers

• Handmade quilts may have small imperfections — that’s part of their charm!
• Creative freedom is used in layout unless we’ve discussed details in advance
• I’m not responsible for fading or peeling of graphics after washing
• Your quilt may be featured in marketing or listings unless you request otherwise
